Book 5–7 days ahead once September arrives — fall fills the delivery schedule almost as fast as spring. September and October bring a second rush of overseeding, mulching, and driveway work across Greater Boston, and Saturday windows are always the first to go.
A simple fall booking timeline
- August: order loam and compost now for Labor Day–September overseeding
- Early September: book fall mulch and drainage stone about a week out
- October: driveway gravel and bed work — weekend slots fill by mid-week
