Washed mason sand is the go-to sandbox fill — clean, fine, and screened to a consistent texture. Washing strips out silt and dust, and the fine grain packs well for castle-building while brushing easily off hands and clothes. Full details are on the product page.
Sizing is simple: an 8 ft × 8 ft box filled 6" deep takes about 1.2 cubic yards — conveniently just over our 1-yard delivery minimum, with spillover left for top-ups. Larger play areas and school sandboxes order by the yard the same way, up to 6 yards per truckload. Have the pile dumped on a tarp beside the box and shovel straight in.
