Super loam is Ottr's premium enriched screened loam — the step up from standard loam for work where soil quality carries the result. Same screened natural base, enriched for topdressing, lawn repair, and beds that need the best start. Think of it as the finish coat: the last inch or two your seed actually touches.
When super loam is worth it
- Topdressing and lawn repair, where a thin layer has to perform
- Spring seeding over thin or patchy turf
- Planting beds and finish grading where extra quality pays off
For bulk grading and big-volume lawn builds, standard screened loam is the value play; use super loam where roots meet soil directly. Both are natural screened soils, so slight load-to-load variation is normal, and both ship up to 6 yards per truckload — reserve an early-spring date now.
