Fill dirt is structural fill — earth for filling holes, raising grades, and building up low spots — not a growing medium. Use it where you need volume and stability, not where anything needs to take root. Typical jobs: old pool fills, trench backfill after utility work, and raising a low corner that floods every thaw.
