"A yard" means one cubic yard — a cube of material 3 ft on every side, or 27 cubic feet. It's the standard unit for bulk mulch, soil, sand, and stone, and it's how every Ottr product is priced, sold, and delivered. Order 3 yards and three of those cubes arrive loose in one dump-truck drop.

- About 14 standard 2-cu-ft bags
- 9–14 heaped wheelbarrow loads, or ~40 five-gallon buckets
- Roughly 100 sq ft of coverage at 3" deep
