FAQ

How many yards of mulch fit in one delivery?

One delivery carries up to 10 cubic yards of mulch. Mulch is light — roughly 900 lbs per yard — so volume, not weight, is the limit, which is why mulch loads run bigger than the 6-yard cap on stone, sand, and soil.

The number matters at checkout: 12 yards means two trucks and two delivery fees, while trimming to 10 keeps it to one. Ten yards goes a long way — about 1,600 sq ft of beds at a 2-inch refresh, or 1,000 sq ft at a full 3 inches. Most yards in Greater Boston need less than that in a season.

Measure first, then order once: the material calculator turns square feet into yards, and the mulch collection has every color Ottr carries.
