FAQ

Can a dump truck deliver on a snow-covered driveway?

Yes — if the driveway is plowed and passable, we can deliver right onto it. Our trucks run all winter. What stops a drop isn't snow on the ground; it's an unplowed or icy approach the driver can't safely make. The dispatcher also watches the forecast and calls ahead if a storm is about to shift your window.

Winter delivery checklist

  • Plow or clear a lane at least 10 ft wide where the truck will drive
  • Mark the drop spot with a cone or bucket when everything is white
  • Slick or steep driveways: the driver may drop curbside instead — a safety call made on site

If access is fully blocked, we attempt a curbside drop and reschedule for free. See the delivery page for winter policies, or call or text (617) 645-0987 the morning of your delivery.
