Sterling was Chocksett before it was Sterling, the second parish of Lancaster until it was set off in 1781, and the town still carries its farm past in the open. The Stillwater River comes down out of Princeton and crosses Sterling on its way to the Wachusett Reservoir, whose shoreline forms the Boylston town line and puts a good share of the south end under state watershed protection. East and West Waushacum Ponds sit in the middle of town, Leominster State Forest covers ground on the northern side, and Davis Farmland and the Sterling Fair still draw crowds every year. Interstate 190 splits the town north to south while Routes 12, 62, 140 and 110 handle everything else, so a dump truck reaches most driveways without a long crawl on dirt. Ottr Landscape Supply delivers across all of it, whether you're mulching a shoreline lot near Waushacum, spreading stone on a farm road off Route 62, or building a patio base in the newer houses west of Interstate 190.
Same-day and next-day dump truck loads of mulch, gravel, screened loam, and decorative stone — no minimum order required, and we know the camp-road lots around the Waushacum ponds need a shorter reach than the open driveways off Route 12. Delivery to Sterling runs about $192 per load — $100 covers the first 30 miles from our Dispatch Office, then $4 per mile for the 23 miles beyond it. We also serve neighboring Lancaster, Princeton, and West Boylston on the same routes. For gravel and crushed stone specifically, see our Sterling gravel supplier page. When you need dependable Sterling landscape supply, Ottr is the trusted name for bulk materials delivered right to your driveway or job site.
