Five square miles is all there is to Millville, carved out of Blackstone in 1916 and named for the mills that once crowded the river islands here. An axe and scythe mill worked the water in 1828, the Blackstone Canal was cut through the same year, and rubber manufacturing under the Woonsocket Rubber Company brought Banigan City — a block of worker housing that still sets the street pattern off Central Street. The last of the mills burned in 1977, and the Millville lock survives as one of the best-preserved pieces of the canal anywhere in the corridor. Below the village the Blackstone drops through Blackstone Gorge, and the ground alongside it is ledge and cobble rather than anything you would call topsoil. Ottr Landscape Supply delivers across all of it, whether you're building beds on a Central Street lot, running crushed stone to a driveway off Route 122, or hauling screened loam to a yard above the gorge.
Same-day and next-day dump truck loads of mulch, gravel, screened loam, and decorative stone — no minimum order required, and we know the old worker-housing streets off Central Street sit close together and take a smaller, tighter drop than the newer builds toward the Uxbridge line. Delivery to Millville runs about $196 per load — $100 covers the first 30 miles from our Dispatch Office, then $4 per mile for the 24 miles beyond it. We also serve neighboring Blackstone, Uxbridge, and Mendon on the same routes. For gravel and crushed stone specifically, see our Millville gravel supplier page. When you need dependable Millville landscape supply, Ottr is the trusted name for bulk materials delivered right to your driveway or job site.
