Collection: Bristol County Gravel Supplier
Bristol County's gravel needs come straight out of its ground. The Taunton River basin lays down clay and silt loam that stays wet, the coast toward Buzzards Bay and Mount Hope Bay is sandy outwash that shifts under traffic, and the interior towns sit on glacial till that packs hard. Driveways in Freetown, Rehoboth and Berkley run hundreds of feet across that mix, while city lots in New Bedford, Fall River and Taunton need stone that holds up in tight quarters.
We deliver ¾" crushed stone for driveways, drainage trenches and French drains; dense pack for compacted patio, walkway and shed-pad bases; ¾" pea stone for decorative ground cover and drainage beds; and decorative stone for borders, dry riverbeds and landscape design. Everything is sold by the cubic yard and delivered by dump truck with no minimum order — a typical driveway or drainage job takes 5 to 6 yards a load.
Road distance from our Dorchester yard into Bristol County runs about 26 to 56 miles, so gravel delivery runs roughly $100 to $205 — $100 covers the first 30 miles, then $4 per mile beyond it. Easton, at 26 miles, is the only Bristol town inside the flat zone; New Bedford, Dartmouth and Fairhaven sit at the far end of the band. Order crushed stone and gravel by town: New Bedford, Fall River, Taunton, Attleboro, Dartmouth, or Easton.
