Untreated rock salt is straight halite — economical and effective in typical Boston cold. Treated salt is brine-coated to work at lower temperatures with less bounce.

How many cubic yards are in a dump truck load?

Ottr delivers up to 10 cubic yards of mulch per truckload, or up to 6 cubic yards of stone, gravel, sand, or soil. Bigger orders run as multiple loads.

Do you deliver bulk materials in the winter?

Yes — Ottr delivers bulk materials year-round, Monday–Saturday. Snow or hard frost can shift a delivery window, and dispatch always calls ahead.
