All Ottr Landscape Supply orders are delivered by local dump truck, unloaded loose at your specified location. The standard truck holds up to 14 cubic yards per load and requires 13.5 ft minimum overhead clearance and 10 ft minimum side clearance to access your driveway. Two delivery placement options: curbside (default) or on-property by request.
The two delivery placement options
- Curbside delivery (default) — we unload your materials directly onto your driveway or just off the public roadway. No risk of damage to lawn or surfaces. Works for any project where you can wheelbarrow material in from the curb.
- On-property delivery — by request, we drive onto your property to unload in the yard or another designated spot. Saves you the wheelbarrow trips. Customer waiver required — the loaded truck weighs ~30,000–40,000 lbs and can leave wheel ruts on lawn or hairline cracks on residential driveways.
What affects delivery feasibility
- Overhead clearance — minimum 13.5 ft. Tree branches and overhead utility lines can prevent delivery.
- Side clearance — minimum 10 ft. Tight alleyways, narrow gates, and parked-car-blocked driveways are no-go zones.
- Surface load capacity — standard residential driveway concrete handles a loaded dump truck; older asphalt or paver driveways may show wheel impressions.
- Access route — we follow GPS to the dispatcher-confirmed address. Add gate codes or special instructions at checkout.
Truck capacity reference
- Standard dump truck: up to 14 cubic yards by volume
- Mulch only: up to ~10 cubic yards (the volume cap hits before the weight cap because mulch is light)
- Multi-truck delivery: required for orders above 14 cubic yards — see our 40-ton FAQ for the math
