Same-day delivery is available on orders placed before 10:30 AM; next-day delivery is the default for everything ordered after that cutoff. Orders run through a simple flow: place online, get a confirmation email, our dispatcher calls to lock the delivery window, and the truck rolls.
The full delivery flow, step by step
- Place your order online — pick your material, run the calculator to size the cubic yardage, choose your preferred delivery date at checkout.
- Get an email confirmation within minutes.
- Dispatcher calls or texts to confirm the delivery window and any drop-off instructions (curbside vs on-property, gate codes, special access notes).
- Dump truck arrives on the scheduled day. Materials are unloaded loose at your specified location — driveway by default, on-property by request.
- You’re done. No bagging, no stacking, no rental returns.
What affects delivery timing
- Time of day ordered — before 10:30 AM = same-day eligible; after = next-day.
- Day of week — weekend slots fill up first; place weekend orders Mon–Wed for best window selection.
- Weather — heavy rain, snow, or ground frost can shift the window. We’ll always reach out if your slot needs to move.
- Distance from our Dorchester dispatch yard — closer addresses get tighter time windows; farther addresses (Plymouth, Brockton) typically run as 4-hour windows.
Example: A 5-yard order of mulch placed at 9:30 AM Tuesday for a Brookline address will typically deliver between 12 PM and 4 PM the same day. The same order placed at 2 PM gets a Wednesday morning slot.
